This post by Tim Heuer is just spectacular. Amazon’s S3 service does not support a cross-domain access policy file (for Silverlight or Flash) so I assumed he was going to explain how to proxy those calls through a local web service (a common work-around), but instead he made my head explode by explaining buckets and CNAME DNS entries to get it to work.  Nice…really nice…
