In case you’re not following NHibernate Contrib project, their NHIbernate.LINQ package has recently (Jan 15th) hit Alpha. Its still a bit early to depend on for production code, but its probably worth a look.  It still contains my ADO.NET Data Services’ extensions (IUpdateable and IExpandProvider). Take a look at the package:
